DOMED SCRATCH RESISTANT SAPPHIRE CRYSTAL - WR 50M
Movement: Accutron's Proprietary Electrostatic Movement.
The electrostatic energy is created by twin turbines that rotate as a result of human motion at incredible speeds between two electrodes affixed to the movement. The energy, stored in an accumulator, powers two motors; a world's first electrostatic motor fueling the fluid second hand and a step motor powering the hour and minute hands.
Power Saving Function: To ensure power saving, the second hand automatically stops at 12 o'clock after 5 minutes of non activity. Your timepiece continues to keep time, the hour hand and the minute hand keep moving. When you would like to see the second hand's motion, please swing arm fully up and down for 3 to 5 seconds. Once powered, the second hand gradually returns to the current second indication and the power save function is canceled.
Watch Dial: Smoke grey open-work dial with signature Accutron green accents and transparent outer ring. Light green super luminous markers, white hour and minute hands and orange second hand.
