Delma 41501.670.6.044 Shell Star Decompression Timer Blue Dial Automatic
With sophisticated diving technology built upon the design of DELMA's cherished Shell Star collection, the Shell Star Decompression Timer presents a rarely seen feature in a timepiece that is equally technical, durable and stylish. Key historical characteristics include a spade central seconds hand, the railway track and orange and white indexes.
The added functionality of the decompression timer is based on pioneering Swiss research of the 1950s and 60s and clearly displays when decompression stops are needed. Optimized for diving at 0-700 meters above sea level, the coordinating blue unidirectional bezel can be used to precisely time dive duration. The vertical scale on the dial at 12 o'clock corresponds to the dive depth while the white markings on the rings clearly indicate whether decompression stops are necessary. The solid construction and helium escape valve enable a water resistance to 500 m / 1650 ft and a blue genuine rubber strap completes a unique diving tool worthy of attention. The automatic movement is visible through the transparent case back.
