2014 commemorates the 10 year anniversary of the 9R Spring Drive movement in Grand Seiko. This unique innovation is paid tribute by the release of two new special limited edition models. The dials have a criss crossed lattice type pattern with small GS logos found throughout. The 10 minute index will have the small Grand Seiko Lion to express Spring Drive's introduction to Grand Seiko 10 years ago. Around the outer edge of the dial you will find a 1/5th a seconds track in railway pattern with the inner ring of the bezel engraved "Caliber 9R 10th Anniversary Since 2004".
